Deepen your experience and extend your bottom time: in conjunction with our renowned SCUBA program, Georgia Aquarium is now proud to offer a try-dive rebreather experience (no bubbles!). Now guests can enjoy our majestic whale sharks, manta rays, and other exotic species while donning some of the newest and most innovative rebreather equipment to date. Open Water SCUBA divers ages 15 and up are eligible to participate in this all-inclusive experience with over an hour dive time. All equipment is provided, however, divers are encouraged to bring their personal masks.ga-aquarium-bts-2x1

 

Cost: $395.95 + 8% tax = $427.63

Program price includes admission to the Aquarium, all presentations and galleries, all equipment, certificate of participation, exclusive t-shirt, souvenir photo and HD video of your experience.

This is a 3.5 hour experience with the dive lasting over an hour. Participants will also get to view some behind-the-scenes areas of Georgia Aquarium.

 

Who:

All participants must be ages 15 and older. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult in the water. Proof of Open Water SCUBA certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization must be provided, along with photo identification. All participants must have the program liability waiver, medical waiver, and animal interactive program guidelines signed and dated prior to participating in the program. Please note that guests must be physically able to climb a ladder in and out of the exhibit.

Date Change Policy:

A date may be changed free of charge if the change is made more than 14 days in advance of the original date of your visit. If the change is made less than 14 days prior to the original date of your visit, a $50 change fee per ticket will be charged. No changes can be made less than 48 hours prior to the date of your original visit, and the guest will be charged the full program cost

Cancellations/No-Show Policy:

Cancellations and no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled. Guests arriving late (after the required program check-in time) will not be permitted to participate in the program and will not be refunded or rescheduled. We encourage guests to arrive at the Aquarium with plenty of time to park, enter, and check into the program. Please plan accordingly.
